Welcome to Play Hollow’s consignment section. By purchasing secondhand, vintage, or consignment items through our Shopify store, you explicitly acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. "As-is" Condition & Quality Tiers

All children's clothing, footwear, and accessories sold under the consignment section on this website are pre-owned and consigned.

• Every item is thoroughly inspected and graded into one of our three standard condition tiers: New With Tags, Excellent Used Condition, or Play Condition. 
• Due to the secondhand nature of our inventory, minor wear, washing fade, small fabric blemishes, or interior tag markings may be present. We make every effort to photograph and note visible flaws, but all items are strictly sold on an "As-Is, Where-Is" basis.

2. Final Sale & Return Policy

To support our local independent consignors, all online sales are FINAL SALE. 

• We do not accept returns, exchanges, or cancellations for size mismatches, changing your mind, or minor cosmetic discrepancies typical of pre-owned children's items.
• In the rare event that an item has a significant, undisclosed structural defect (e.g., broken zipper, large unnoted tear), you must contact us at info@playhollow.com within forty-eight (48) hours of delivery or local pickup notification to request a resolution.

3. CPSC Safety Compliance & Liability Waiver

While Play Hollow strictly monitors its intake to reject any items flagged in the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) database, we are an independent reseller and not the original manufacturer.

Buyer Responsibility: The purchaser assumes all responsibility to inspect clothing, snaps, buttons, and drawstrings before placing garments on a child. 

Liability: Play Hollow disclaims any and all liability for personal injury, property damage, allergic reactions, or unexpected safety issues arising from the use of products purchased on this website. By completing checkout, you waive any legal claims against Play Hollow or its consignors.

4. Local Pickup Deadlines

If you select "Local Pickup" at checkout, you agree to the following logistics:

• You will receive a notification email when your order is physically packed and ready. Do not arrive before receiving this notification.
• Items must be retrieved from our pickup location within seven (7) business days of notification. 
• Orders left uncollected after fourteen (14) calendar days will be automatically cancelled. A 20% restocking fee will be deducted, and the remaining balance will be issued as store credit only. The items will be returned to the store's digital inventory.

5. Trademark & Fair Use Disclaimer

Play Hollow is an independent, omni-channel consignment marketplace. Brand names listed on this site (including but not limited to Hanna Andersson, Mini Boden, Lilly Pulitzer, and Janie and Jack) are the registered trademarks of their respective owners. 

Our description of these items is protected under the First Sale Doctrine and is used solely to accurately identify and describe the authentic, legally acquired secondhand products we offer. We are not an authorized dealer, partner, or affiliate of any brand sold on this platform.
