Pequeños Camp at Play Hollow: A Magical Learning Adventure for Young Explorers

Welcome to Pequeños Camp at Play Hollow, a summer experience where children ages 3 to 6 engage in gentle Spanish immersion and hands-on scientific exploration through music, nature, art, and play. Held on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 9 AM to 12 PM, our program provides a nurturing environment where young learners can thrive. Led by experienced educators Natalia, a bilingual speech-language pathologist, and Andrew, a NYS-certified teacher with a master’s degree in meteorology, our camp fosters curiosity and a love of discovery. With over 30 years of combined experience, our instructors guide children through engaging, play-based learning that builds confidence and inspires a lifelong passion for exploring the world.

Each day at Play Hollow Camp is thoughtfully designed to spark creativity, social connection, and skill-building. Campers participate in a bilingual rhythm and music class, where songs and instruments introduce language and culture in a fun, interactive way. Nature exploration and outdoor play encourage movement, teamwork, and a deeper appreciation of the environment. A social picnic and snack time, with a healthy snack provided, offers moments of connection and reflection. Weekly themes take young explorers on exciting adventures, from discovering the magic of food in Kitchen Chemistry, learning about critters in Bug Buddies, exploring different biomes in Happy Habitats,  or fostering a love for the outdoors in Nature Nurturers. Each session is carefully crafted to ensure children leave with new skills, new friendships, and a joyful love for learning.
