Play Hollow Masking Policy - Enrollment Prior to 3/3/2022
Play Hollow strives to be a location where parents and children alike can feel supported and safe: a place for community and gathering as well as a place where we celebrate diversity and understanding. COVID-19 has been an extraordinarily traumatic and damaging event across the globe not only in its devastating human health toll but also in our collective psyche.
It is very difficult to create rules and regulations in one-size fits all approach given that every family has unique needs and wishes for their health and their children, which we at Play Hollow want to honor. Play Hollow also values that each family’s medical decisions are their own to share and Play Hollow will not be asking its patrons or class participants their vaccination status. We ask that all members of our community respect each family’s choices and engage in respectful and empathetic discourse, as we are here to support each other.
In order to mitigate the spread of COVID-19, since its opening, Play Hollow has equipped the front and back rooms with air purifiers that allow for full room air filtration at a minimum rate of air changes 6x per hour.
RETAIL SPACE
- Play Hollow encourages all of its patrons 2 years and older to wear a mask while shopping at Play Hollow ***unless noted due to special circumstances which will be indicated by signage and on our social media***
CLASSES AND WORKSHOPS WITH CHILDREN UNDER 2
- No children under the age of 2 are recommended to wear masks. We will ask that ALL ADULTS WEAR A MASK for the duration of the class **UNLESS** all adults are comfortable allowing each person to choose their masking status. This masking policy will be determined prior to the beginning of the first class. Play Hollow and/or the class instructor will email all participants asking their preference status prior to the session starting. Following all responses received, the class instructor will be emailing all session participants prior to the first class and informing all participants of the masking policy for that session.
CLASSES AND WORKSHOPS WITH CHILDREN BETWEEN 2 TO 5 YEARS OF AGE
- Parents will be asked to sign a COVID-19 waiver form which will allow them to choose if their children will wear or will not wear a mask when present at Play Hollow. We will ask that ALL ADULTS WEAR A MASK for the duration of the class **UNLESS** all adults are comfortable allowing each person to choose their masking status. This masking policy will be determined prior to the beginning of the first class. - Parents will be asked to sign a COVID-19 waiver form which will allow them to choose if their children will wear or will not wear a mask when present at Play Hollow. If adults are asked to remain for the duration of the class, adults will be encouraged, but not required, to wear a mask.
