1/20 - Tummy Time and Developmental Movement (4 week session)
**Fridays (1/20, 1/27, 2/3, 2/10) at 1 PM**
For babies 6 weeks to rolling/pushing backwards. Now that you've had your baby, you probably find yourself asking a lot of questions about what activities you should be doing with your baby in the midst of the feedings, diaper changes, spit ups, and restless nights. Or maybe you're asking questions about what your baby should be doing developmentally at 2 months, 3 months, and so on. In this developmental movement class for baby and caregiver we'll guide you in finding the answers as we explore aspects of parent/caregiver bonding, vestibular system development, visual and auditory stimulation through gentle play and song, developmental patterns leading to sitting, variations on tummy time, and baby massage. Each class incorporates gentle aspects of physical yoga for both baby and caregiver, including breath, forward bend, side bend, chest opening, balance, stillness, and alignment.
